Hey there! Thanks so much for the post you left in my guestbook! It was very kind and I appreciate it! I've added your kitties to the Kitty Friends page. If you're into tiled backgrounds, check out Pixel Moondust and look under the archived materials for her super awesome collection of tiled backgrounds she collected from sites that are only on the Wayback Machine. You have a super cool site! I'll be adding your button next time I update my buttons and links page!

hello fellow cat lover, firstly I apologize for the tardiness of this message!! thank you so much for visiting and leaving me a message, I wanted to explore your website before I leave one for you. love how your site looks, and I'd love to know what the history of the lorem ipsum page was? are you constantly using lorem ipsums? :0 ((also I'm going to adopt one of you pixel kitties and your saturated cats!))

hey thanks for your kind comments! i just love your web site i keep finding more and more cool stuff each time i visit. ive added your button on my page :) so the lorem ipsum page was/is for when im working on new layout ideas, i just needed a quick way to copy and paste so i made a page for it...

I saw bookπle and I was so confused until I sounded it out. That was a funny aha moment :)

hah! i'm so glad someone picked up on that! it briefly crossed my mind to change it because it's too cryptic... but meh, it's a minor detail :)

Hi Shen, thank you so much for your kind message! Ah yeah the tug of war with social media... I'm so happy I was able to finally let go of the rope, I'm glad it resonated with someone :) Also, love the creative use of the default borders, looks really cool. Have a great day!

Your disclaimer about the code style made me curious, so I ended up wget-ing the whole site and exploring it locally — 53 directories and 217 files later and I somehow liked it even more. I really like how unapologetically handmade everything feels: inline CSS everywhere, random asset folders, unfinished pages beside polished ones, etc. The Pokémon catch cards page was probably my favourite thing on the site, and the pet photos/art have that very specific early-2000s internet atmosphere that’s hard to reproduce intentionally. Also, thanks for following and linking to my site — I’m really happy you enjoyed my work ^_^

hey, thanks for the great review! i only started the site about two months ago and i honestly didn't realise it had got so.. big. you've managed to capture a few thoughts and intentions i didn't even realise I had: "unapologetically handmade" sums everything up perfectly. ive added your link on my homepage and followed your feed! love your essays. (todo: make my own rss) update: frost, where did you go? page not found :(
